Welcome to our PGCGS website; glad you came by!
We are folks interested in researching our family history and we would love to help you with yours, whether you are a beginner or an experienced researcher. Many of us, but not all, have ancestors from Prince George's County, Maryland. Our meetings offer education in general and specific aspects of genealogical research. Our library focuses on resources for Prince George's County, though we also have resources for a number of other states, mostly those in the Eastern part of the country. The Bulletin, our quarterly newsletter, has articles of local interest as well as some for Maryland and also pieces of general interest. Our membership spans the country, from Maryland to California. We would love to have you join us. Feel free to browse the website for the Prince George's County Genealogical Society. For more information on our website, visit the Webmaster's Message.
